The world's most valuable companies – Apple, Google, Amazon – all started as startups. Breaking glass ceilings tomorrow means fixing how companies get built today. The company-building engine is broken. At WWB, we're on a mission to fix it. We’re starting where potential begins to unfold: universities.

Why are there so few women founders? After deep research and hundreds of student conversations, three core barriers became clear:

• The Role Model Void: You can’t be what you can’t see. Without visible examples of women founders, entrepreneurship feels out of reach.
• Risk Assessment Asymmetry: Gendered norms shape how risk and failure are taught, experienced, and internalised.
• Network Barriers: Critical knowledge and connections remain locked in old networks, keeping the door closed to new founders.

The solution starts here. One barrier at a time. One founder at a time.

In 2024, we discovered something magical: When women see others building, they don't just dream – they act.

This isn't just theory – we're seeing it in action:

• Women in our community are launching ventures within months of joining us, not years. Far faster than we expected.
• Three of our own team members have already left to start their own companies.

This pattern isn't new. Consulting and banking achieved gender parity years ago through systematic campus engagement. Their secret? Reach talented women before limiting beliefs take root.

It's not a capability issue – it's an awareness and consideration challenge. A solvable problem.
